Naftaly Christina Sitompul  (Kitty) , I knew her when i was working in my previous job. I met her on a training session and my first impression when i saw Kitty? “AWESOME!!” Hahaha.. Kitty always come up with a nice smile, warm personality, and last but not least… Hilarious jokes. Every time we talk, i always ended up with never ending laugh.

Naftaly Christina Sitompul , but why we she prefer to be called by Kitty?? Here’s Kitty’s answer about it : “My name is Naftaly Christina Sitompul but you have to join the crowd by calling me Kitty. If you’re familiar with Beyonce and Sasha Fierce, yep, that’s Naftaly and Kitty - except I’m not married to Jay Z (but I keep that option open - I mean, nobody can see the future!)”

Kitty was born in Jakarta on October 22, She went to University of Indonesia for having her broadcasting diploma and in 2009 she received a Fullbright scholarship, which is one of the most prestigious awards program worldwide, operating in over 155 countries, and funded by the U.S. Department of State. For the first three months, they put Kitty to ESL (English as Second Language). Kitty had it at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois and for the rest one year Kitty got transferred to Madison College in Madison,Wisconsin. She was studying journalism.

A lot of people asked Kitty “Why don’t you become a Journalist?” , Kitty has her own answer about it. “The point of the U.S. government to send students from developing country to America is for us to get quality education and basically make a significant contribution to the society upon returning.. I went back to Indonesia in 2010, and yes, my eyes were opened. My people need me. Our people is in urgent need of good education, so we can combat the corruption, poverty, stupidity and even crime.”

What Kitty did, is such an inspiration for me start from her personality and about her vision. Kitty Realized that Education is really important for this country and she chooses to come back to her country and do something about it. With all the teaching experience that she had since she was 18 and her education background, she opened Madison English Club. Kitty really want to provide good quality education yet affordable for the adults, and to be able to empower them through the club.

I love you too Much Babe

When some people go with “I love you so much” but this song go with  ”I love you TOO much”. It’s like… yeah, what will you do if you love this person not so much but too much. A lot of things can happen with this kind of situation. Someone hurt you before but no matter what people said you just love this person… you love too much. Giving up your love, just because you realize that there’s a better thing  for him/her and you need to let him/her go just because… you love this person..too much. You gave your heart, but he/she didn’t realize it… and you don’t even care what people said about you and your feeling.. cos’ you just love this person.. too much. There was a great love before and one of them have to go, you keep continuing his/her dream..just because.. you love too much.

Like people said, everything that come up with “too much” is not a good thing. But when it come up to love? we all can’t deny it… feeling is feeling.

this time…

A couple of this month i spent my time with a couple of gloomy day. There three of us (me and my “gloomy” friends). Sometimes we always just spend a night after our office time, in a steak house and start our “Gloomy Night”. The best part? when we want to give a feedback about someone’s gloomy night? we always start with “HERE’S THE THING” hahaha.. even sometimes we’re making fun of ourselves who’s going to write a book called “here’s the thing”. 

Each of us have our own stories, especially in love. Well, i’m not going to publish their stories anyway , but i’ll share what i’ve got for myself from my gloomy night with my gloomy friends.

Let’s talk about relationship. What is relationship? everyone in this world have their different perception about relationship. Every relationship start with chemistry and after that? it just go with the flow. 

Should we impress him/her? i don’t know, but i prefer to not doing that even sometimes i try so hard to impress that person. We’re just an ordinary people, we’re not someone from drama series where everything is too perfect or too low. We’re even.. you, me, him, and her… we’re even.  There’s is no perfect relationship when it come up to two persons who try so hard to be perfect for their couple, but there’s a perfect relationship when it come up to two persons who are not perfect but just accepting each other by their imperfectness, their mistakes, and everything. I know it sounds so drama, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist anyway. Everybody in this world just need to realize that there’s a perfect thing for us who’s not perfect enough for everybody. We all special. Life is up and down, everybody made a mistake, everybody’s hurt, but don’t we all forget that everybody’s deserve a happiness.

Everyone deserve a true love, a true happiness , an amazing life, and honesty.

This article dedicated to two my “gloomy friends” : Shanty Mardiana and Dini Budiayu. Thank you so much guys for our gloomy night, only with both of you gloomy night can be so disco night. haaha… love you both so much.  

Don’t look at me, but look at them. I’m not doing anything rather than looking at them. Coffee shop always be coffee shop, where people having their coffee and creating their own coffee’s story.

I’m having Caramel Latte, where there’s a little sweetness in a cup of bitter coffee. remembering my first coffee sips , bitter in the first time but try the sweetness from the caramel and got the bitter after-taste. 

Everything is start from the bitter part, but there’s always a sweet part but it came back again to the bitter part we can realize that this sweet thing is always temporary and how it goes back to us to maintain the sweet thing. 

Why people come and go to a coffee shop just to buy this artificial sweet-bitter drink?  the thing is, they all know it used to be bitter and it will be bitter by the end they have it. But the surrounding create the imaginary of sweetness.  Don’t think to much about the bitter and just create some sweetness part, it’s just don’t forget about that every bitter thing that you take cost another sweetness in the future and vice versa.

I don’t know what i’m going to write right now. I just let my mind, my heart, this two fingers pressing the keyboard on my red notebook. Some of King of convenience’s song pop-up in my iTunes. The clock still changing their numbers , every minute that i spent tonight. 0:41 , 0:42 , 0:43, and still click-up the night.

I don’t know what this song talked-about, all i can hear is just a guy playing his guitar and another guy singing something that i called “midnight lullaby rhapsody”. I’m not typing this thing that i still don’t know what is it in a coffee shop, near the window where you can see the rain coming and a cup of warm latte on my coffee table like others people do. I just sit on my bed, charging my iPod using my laptop and my blackberry keep beeping on my right side. 

I’m just letting myself write what i should write, bringing up my mood using the music, and something that maybe i forgot…. keep the simplicity and be myself. 

Not all stories always come from the same situation like people had, sometimes you just have let it go. People are born differently , some are like that and some are like this. 

Let’s talk about love. Love experience, i just can smile and yeah… smile. It’s just a different stories for each of us, but i think we might be have a some same pages like  ”chapter : broken heart” , “chapter : Family’s love” , “chapter : besties” , and of course “chapter : love , just let it go”.  

Messy blanket, three pairs of pants hanging up on the door, brother’s bass guitar on the corner, messy cupboard, that’s what i see now. We’re different, even right now try to stop doing what you do now and just see things around you. We’re definitely have a different “sight-seeing”. But that life is all about right? see something from your perspective and try to understand people’s perspective.

1. Espresso

This person definitely a “strict” person. More into classy stuff, basically people who ordered espresso is someone who prefer originality and maturity. This person can handle critic very good as long as the critic is for real or they will criticize that person back. People who belong to this group sometimes they really stick to the rules, they do something with a lot of considerations but they also enjoying every moment that happened to their lives both good moment and bad moment.

2. Mocha Latte’

This person see everything from both sides. Instead of using their heart their prefer to use their logic first and go to their heart for the next step. “Everything happened for a reason” , people who belong to this category they believe with that quote. Instead of see the future first, they prefer to see the past first and then analyze it and think about the future. Don’t you dare criticize this person cos’ they will ask you the same question. Life is always about en “even number” for this people.

3. Hazelnut Latte’

Freedom, yup! only one word to explain this group. They don’t really care about people’s thought about what they did. This group really different with Mocha Latte’ , They using their heart first then their logic as the next step. They can be a sweet person but until you do something wrong with them , they such a spiteful person.

4. Frappucino

 People who belong to this group they are such an adventurous people. They have a really high curiosity with anything that happen in this world. Somehow this people can said something that they might be think that it was nothing but others people can think that was something.  Life is all about experiment for this person, they can be serious sometimes but they prefer to just let it go and see what will happen.
